Most frequent questions and answers
All of our products are custom made to order and production will not begin before your payment is received. Your credit card will be charged at the time your order is placed. To prevent common mistakes and ensure accuracy, we review every order prior to production. If we have questions or concerns, your order will be placed on hold and a representative will contact you right away. Production normally begins the day after your order is placed and production times vary from 2-12 business days. After production, your order will ship. A current ship date estimate is provided for every product. Many orders ship faster than the ship date quoted.
Products with estimated production times of 1-2 business days cannot be changed or cancelled after the order is placed. Products with estimated production times of 3 or more business days may be changed or cancelled if you contact us within 1 business day (Monday-Friday) from the date your order was placed. Orders cannot be changed or cancelled after 1 business day and unless the cancellation is due to a backorder, production delay, or material delay. The handling fee is non-refundable.
We know everyone makes mistakes. If your blinds don’t fit, even if you make a mistake in measuring, just let us know within 60 days of delivery and we’ll remake them in the sizes you need free of charge, you only pay for shipping ($15 per product*). If the size we remake is more expensive than the size you originally ordered, you just pay the difference. There is a limit of three (3) remakes per order and/or product. Shutters and motorized products are limited to one (1) free remake. The product we make must be the same product and color you originally ordered. If you’re ordering a product for the first time we recommend ordering just one first, so you’ll be certain it fits your windows and meets your expectations. Photo evidence may be required and products that we remake will only be shipped to the name and delivery address on the original order. This offer is available one time per person per lifetime. *An oversize freight fee of $85 will apply on remake orders with products 94″ or more in width (94″ in height or width on vertical blinds) and all shutters have a $100 oversized freight fee. Products that we remake under this policy cannot be returned. This offer cannot be combined with our 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee or any other offer. “This offer is not available on closeout products, commercial or dealer orders.”
We offer an optional accident protection on most products. With the purchase of the plan, in the event of any accidental damage we will replace the damaged product within the 3 years following the date of delivery, free of charge. Accidental damage includes, but not limited to: broken or damaged parts or mechanisms, rips, tears, stains, scratches, burns, cracks, holes, and fire or water damage. Damaged products covered by the plan can be replaced one time free of charge and free shipping. The plan is available to the original customer only and is non-transferable. Products replaced under the plan will only be shipped to the name and delivery address on the original order and an oversize freight fee of $85 will apply if the width (or height on vertical blinds) is 94″ or greater and on all shutter orders. If the product has been discontinued, we will send you samples of a like product to choose from. We do not guarantee that the original product ordered will be available. We require clear photo or video evidence of all damage, and we reserve the right to pick up damaged items, at our expense, for inspection prior to replacement. **The plan is not offered on motorized products, closeout products, commercial or dealer orders, orders over $5,000, or any order at our sole discretion. Our 3 Year Protection fee can be refunded within 60 days if the product is returned under our Satisfaction Guarantee policy
If, ultimately, we are unable to find a color or product that will work for you, we will assist you with a refund. Prior authorization is required for all refunds. Clear photo or video evidence may also be required. Verification of donation or disposal may be requested once a refund has been authorized. Our max refund under this guarantee is $500.00 per order, per person, per household within a 12-month period. *All our products are custom made and cannot be resold; all returns are donated to charity. Return shipping costs, oversize freight fees, handling charges, and the accident protection plan are non-refundable. This offer cannot be combined with our fit-or-free guarantee. This offer is not available on closeout products, and commercial or dealer orders.
Some of our products are priced below cost to allow customers to order a sample of the actual product. We limit orders of 23″-24″ wide by 35″-36″ height products to 1 (one) per order, per person and per household. We will review all orders with products in these sizes and we reserve the right to cancel any orders that violate this policy.
We do not charge for standard shipping. However, orders with oversize products may incur an oversize freight fee (see policy below). We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Canada, Mexico, or anywhere outside the 48 contiguous United States.
Horizontal blinds and shades 94″ in width or greater, vertical blinds 94″ in width or height and greater, and all shutter orders are charged a flat $85 oversize freight fee per order. Oversize freight fees are non-refundable.
Please inspect your merchandise thoroughly upon delivery. If you receive damaged merchandise, contact us within 10 business days for replacement. Photo evidence of shipping damage is required prior to replacement.
We charge $6.00 handling per order. All of our products are custom made to order and once in production, cannot be cancelled. We personally review every order to ensure accuracy and avoid common mistakes. If we have questions or concerns, your order will be placed on hold and we will contact you right away. Once your order is approved, it’s released to the factory for production. Handling fees are non-refundable.
It is vitally important to us that the personal information you share with us is securely protected. We use the very latest encryption technology (advanced Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) to ensure the security of your personal information.
The colors you see on your screen may not accurately reflect the true colors of the product. There are variances among computer monitors and other electronic display devices, therefore the colors, as they appear on your screen, may be different than the actual colors you receive. If color is important, for instance you want your blinds to match a color in your home, we highly recommend that you request free samples prior to ordering. Samples are not available for closeout products. There may also be differences in dye lots. Temperature, time, and water source may all contribute to slight variations between dye lots. The difference can be anywhere from subtle to extremely visible. If concerned with identical matches, it is important to order all blinds in the same room on the same order, so that they are all produced in the same batch of dye. Please note test orders may vary in dye lot from the final order.

The purpose of this policy statement is to provide details about the information we collect from our customers and visitors to our website, and how this information may be used. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time without notification, or as required by law. The personal information we collect from our customers includes your name, address, phone number, and email address. This information may be collected by placing an order, creating an account, signing up for promotional emails, or subscribing to our blog. By placing an order, you are opting-in to receive occasional marketing emails from us. You are also agreeing to share your email address and the products you purchased with an independent, third-party review company, for the sole purpose of soliciting your opinions about the products you purchased from us. To opt-out of marketing emails, simply click the unsubscribe link provided in the email. We use cookies and other technologies to collect information about the visitors to our website. We use this information to analyze visitor data and to make improvements to our website and tailor our products to the needs and preferences of our visitors. This data may also be used to deliver targeting advertising after your visit, commonly referred to as remarketing.
The manufacturer warrants that it’s products will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of two (2) years from the date of receipt. This Limited Warranty is provided to the original purchaser only and does not apply to accidental damages, or damages due to alteration, misuse, improper installation, normal wear and tear, exposure to the elements, fire, water, or acts of God. Fading from extensive exposure to sunlight is a normal occurrence and is not covered under this Limited Warranty. The obligation of the manufacturer is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective products. For warranty claims during the first 12 months from the date of receipt, the manufacturer will pay for shipping costs to repair or replace warranted products. For warranty claims within 13-24 months, customer will be responsible for shipping costs. Motorized products and remote controls are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt. In the event that any part or provision of this Limited Warranty shall conflict with any present or future law, statute, ordinance, regulation or ruling, the latter shall prevail; provided the part or provision of this Limited Warranty affected shall be curtailed and limited only to the extent necessary to bring it within the requirements of law, and all other parts and provisions of this Limited Warranty shall remain in full force and effect. In compliance with the latest manufacturing and product safety guidelines, the manufacturer includes with each product: warning tags, warning labels, safety guidelines, installation instructions, and safety devices. The installer must adhere to the installation instructions, warning tags, warning labels, and safety guidelines, and must install any and all safety devices provided by the manufacturer. It is the responsibility of the installer, as well as the purchaser and/or end user, to see that all safety guidelines are followed and all safety devices are properly installed and used according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions and safety guidelines, and remain so throughout the life of the product. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESSOR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MANUFACTURER, OR ITS DISTRIBUTORS AND RETAILERS, BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR OTHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGE, LOSS, COST, EXPENSE, OR FEE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THIS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MANUFACTURER’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE COST OF THE PRODUCT.
